At St. Andrew’s Primary School, RE is taught through a combination of weekly lessons and R.E theme days, making up a minimum of 5% of our curriculum time.

‘The Emmanuel Project’ which is based on a Religion and Worldviews approach is our main resource. It offers an authentic view of religious and non-religious lives around the world. It starts with people and helps pupils understand that the world is a richly diverse community. ‘The Emmanuel Project’ ensures RE is balanced, by looking through three different lenses: theology, human social science and philosophy, at an age-appropriate level.
