Summer Term
We have some very exciting news for the sports diary this term. As of Term 6, the Salisbury SSGO has been given the green light to organise and run three competitions. The events, dates and age groups are yet to be confirmed but will be announced as soon as they have been.
Sports Day this year will be ran similarly to last year. Olympics style competitions will be held for each year group in their year group bubbles to ensure the safety of the children in a COVID secure environment. And, ever so sorry parents that you will not get to see your children perform for a second year, but hopefully next year.
Term 5- Ed will be teaching Tennis in KS2 and Football/Multi-skills in EYFS and KS1
Virtual School Games
Welcome to the Wiltshire Virtual School Games 2020/21! Each term there will be series of challenges for your students to try. We would encourage you to participate as part of a PE lesson, however the activities require little or no equipment so can be attempted at home.
This term the focus is ‘Fitness’, please visit the website below to find the details of the challenges and to log your results

The ‘William Lamb’ Challenge
Due to the cancellation of all external sports competitions, the cluster of schools in our area are competing in a variety of athletic activities aimed at key stage 2 children. We will be ensuring that children in school have access to these, but we would also like to get children at home involved where possible.
The event comprises of 20 simple athletic challenges that you can do at home, with your family. These challenges are divided into four categories: running, jumping, throwing and pets! All can be done with minimal equipment, limited space, whenever you can find the time and you do not have to have any athletics experience! All you have to do is complete as many of the challenges as you want, as many times as you like and record your best performances on the results sheet. We will then submit our best performers for each event to our School Sports Coordinator, who will add it to the Salisbury schools table.
All children who take part will receive a certificate and overall winners will receive a prize.
Please find the challenge instructions and result sheet attached below.
