Uniform
At St. Andrew’s CE VA Primary School, we pride ourselves on being smart, well presented and ready for learning. It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in school-organised events outside normal school hours. We believe that the wearing of a school uniform enables students to identify with their school, gives a sense of belonging, is practical and smart, reinforces a positive work ethos and reduces expenditure for parents/carers. In addition, school uniform can reduce bullying and peer pressure on children to wear the latest fashions.
The Governors of St. Andrew’s CE VA Primary School recognise that keeping costs to a minimum for parents is important in making our uniform inclusive and accessible to all. Therefore, there are no requirements for school uniform to have a logo.
