In Class 2 we loved meeting the animals when Longleat Outreach came to visit.
|Everyone loved the Three Banded Armadillo. His shell is hinged so that he can roll up into a tight ball to protect himself.||We were Surprised that the Royal Python wasn’t at all slimy.|
Getting down to some Maths in Class 2.
We went to Roche court . We have been looking at Fairy Tales and we were looking for inspiration- we found plenty. From dancing hares…………to strange plastic discs…………….to a gorilla looking at his reflection in a lilypad shaped pond.
|We went to Riverbourne Farm. We met rabbits and guinea pigs||The piglets were all snuggled up with their mum!|
|The calves were very hungry!||We saw the sheep in their snowy field|
|We went to a fundamentals festival at St Edmunds. We enjoyed trying a variety of different sports.|
|Class 2 enjoyed our RE day. We explored the question ‘Why do Christians celebrate Easter?’ We recreated Holy week through drama.||We had a great start to the Summer Term with a Cricket session with
Josh from Wiltshire Cricket. We learned to bat, bowl, and improved
Miss Dallard introduced us to Times Tables Rock Stars. We are hoping to score 3000 points over half term. Come on Class 2! We can do it!
We celebrated the Royal Wedding with a party on Friday. If you’re going to a Royal Wedding you need to wear a hat and so we made some beauties!
Class 2 had a great day at Old Sarum Castle. We re-built Salisbury Cathedral and had a mock battle.
